Untamed Episode Wins Silver Telly Award

In May 2022, the Untamed Habitat Islands and Wildlife Corridors (Season 3) won a silver Telly Award! The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television and showcase work from some of the most respected television stations, advertising agencies, production companies, and publishers from around the world. VPM submitted this episode for consideration and it won in the General - Nature/Wildlife for Television category.

Wildlife Center President and Untamed host Ed Clark remarked, "We are all just thrilled to have again won one of the very prestigious Telly Awards, this time a silver award.  Unlike the Emmys where your program is simply judged against other nominees in your category, the Telly Awards evaluate your program against an empirical standard of excellence.   We are honored.  We are proud.  But mostly we are inspired and motivated to continue presenting compelling conservation messages in a way that is hopefully informative, educational, and entertaining.   Our partnership with our colleagues at VPM is certainly the right mix of skills and expertise.  The production of Untamed is a lot of work, but it is a labor of love for all of us. "  Senior Vice President for Outreach & Education and Untamed co-producer Amanda Nicholson added, "It's such an honor to receive recognition for Untamed, and see this program grow every year. It's amazing to see how far we've come since Season One!"
