Ed Clark, President and Co-founder of the Wildlife Center of Virginia, announced today that Executive Vice President Randy Huwa will be retiring at the end of 2022. Randy joined the Wildlife Center staff in October 2005; in his 17 years at the Wildlife Center, he has been responsible for fundraising, budgeting, public relations, and program administration.
Randy will remain at his current Wildlife Center post through the end of December; he will assume a new role as Senior Advisor to the President in the New Year. “During his 17 years at the Wildlife Center of Virginia, Randy has made enormous contributions to our effectiveness, our culture, and our growth. His relationship with coworkers and donors has forged a strong bond among us all,” said Clark. “While he has earned the right to step back from many day-to-day operations, I am delighted that he will remain part of the organization in the role of Senior Advisor, continuing to share his perspective, his wisdom, and his incredible sense of humor with all of us.”
