Bailey the Bear Needs Help! Book Tour

October 26, 2023 (All day) to October 28, 2023 (All day)
Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, Charlottesville

Join us for a very special book tour!

Christy Gove, author of Bailey the Black Bear Needs Help!, will be coming to Virginia October 26-28 for a book tour. This children's book is a true story of rescue and rehabilitation, featuring a former patient who was treated at the Wildlife Center of Virginia in 2016. This is Christy's third book in conjunction with the Wildlife Center; other books feature true stories of animals at the Center, including Greta the Great Horned Owl and Maggie the One-Eyed Peregrine Falcon.

Christy, Center outreach staff, and non-releasable education ambassadors will be traveling to several locations in the Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville throughout this three-day tour.

Events include a variety of readings, book signings, and meet-and-greet opportunities. We hope you can join us!
