Spring is almost here, and that means the Center is gearing up for the busiest time of the year for patient admissions—baby season! During this time, the Center admits an average of nearly 2000 patients, the majority of which are young injured or orphaned wildlife.

With baby season already underway, we have a special Critter Cam event on Wednesday, March 29—Baby Cam! Tune in at 9:00 a.m. Eastern to see behind-the-scenes at the Wildlife Center and watch as the rehabilitation team provides treatment and care for the first babies of the 2023 baby season, including squirrels, cottontails, and possibly opossums or baby birds. During this special live-action Cam event [with audio!], you'll be able to peer over the shoulders of the Center's rehabilitation team while listening to two outreach staff members give a play-by-play describing what's taking place and on which patients! Click on the moderated discussion to submit your questions for the outreach staff. Morning treatments begin at 9:00 a.m. and will last throughout most of the morning.
