A visit to the Wildlife Center of Virginia is a truly unique opportunity for your class, club, or group. Learn about the inner-workings of a wildlife hospital, meet one of our education ambassadors up-close, and take an up-close look at our resident non-releasable raptors.
Programs for schools meet the Virginia Standards of Learning requirements.
COVID-19 Response: We will be rescheduling all in-person programs until further notice in effort to reduce the potential spread of coronavirus. Join us for an online program instead!
Wildlife Center of Virginia Tour:
Learn about the Wildlife Center with a presentation by an educator, a video introduction to our hospital, and a close-up experience with a resident non-releasable education animal. Finish with a tour of our outdoor raptor enclosures where you’ll see and learn about owls, vultures, falcons, hawks, and eagles.
