Field Trip to the Wildlife Center

Miss Raulerson's third-grade class is one of our "Cam in the Classroom" classes.  Miss Raulerson recently shared this writing assignment with us.

On our latest reading test, the students were supposed to write a persuasive letter to me about a place that would be a good field trip. I thought you might like to read this one from Faith:

Dear Miss Raulerson,

I think a field trip to the Wildlife Center would be a terrific place for our class to go. Here are three reasons I think a trip to the Wildlife Center would be such a good idea.

The first reason I think we should go to the Wildlife Center is because we can study the birds. We can learn how birds build their nest.

Next, the Wildlife Center would be a good field trip for our class because we can learn more about Edie. Edie eats meat.

Finally, I think we should go to the Wildlife Center because all of us will know a lot about birds. I think everyone in the class needs to know a little more about birds.

I have explained why I think a field trip to the Wildlife Center would be a good place for us to go.

Sincerely,

--Faith
