WILD-ONe: Public Information

In exchange for using this free service, users must enter patient data into WILD-ONe in a timely manner (within one month of admission), and be willing to share a limited amount of information about each patient. While much of the information is proprietary (drug doses, medical notes, contact information, etc) and is not subject to review by anyone without permission, the information reported to permitting agencies is generally considered to be public information.  It is this information that will be shared with the network so a comprehensive database on animal health can be compiled.

Shared information includes the following fields:

1. Date of admission,
2. Circumstances of rescue (including all relevant details),
3. Location of rescue (including state, locality, and GIS coordinates),
4. Patient identification number,
5. Species,
6. Gender,
7. Life stage,
8. Band or tag number,
9. Type of injury,
10. Location of injury on body,
11. Disposition,
12. Disposition date,
13. Location of release or placement (if applicable).
