Introduction to Raising Orphaned Mammals
This beginner's course for those obtaining their rehabilitation permit focuses on the rehabilitation of orphaned Eastern gray squirrels, Southern flying squirrels, Virginia opossums, and Eastern cottontails. Natural history, general care, proper nutrition, diet and feeding, housing, release criteria, and problems and solutions are all covered. An overview of the rehabilitation permitting process will also be covered.
