The Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia in Staunton, Virginia is a living history museum. The Museum features five historic, reconstructed working farms that represent the daily lives and agricultural heritage of the peoples who immigrated to the new world and formed a unique American culture. The Museum is an educational agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Wildlife Center of Virginia offers one-hour presentations at The Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia. This program focuses on how animals and the environment face different challenges today than they did in the 1800s. The education team will address how the personal choices we all make can affect the health of the world. Educators use three non-releasable wild animals, such as hawks, owls, snakes, or opossums, to illustrate the environmental topics covered in the presentation.
$5 per person with a minimum charge per program of $125
