Support the WCV

The Wildlife Center of Virginia is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that depends primarily upon private donations for its programs and services. The Center works hard to be an effective and efficient non-profit - we strive to keep our administrative and fundraising costs to a minimum, so that we can do the best job possible as a wildlife hospital and education center.

The Wildlife Center has received the coveted four-star rating for sound fiscal management from Charity Navigator, the top rating provided by the nation's premier independent evaluator of charitable organizations.   The Wildlife Center of Virginia gains the coveted Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator

More than half of our contributions come from private contributions. Other important revenue sources include special events - highlighted by our Annual Fall Gala and Benefit - and corporate and foundation grants. Contributions to the Wildlife Center may be made online through a secure web-site.

The Wildlife Center also has been honored to receive proceeds from the bequests of individuals who remembered the Wildlife Center in their estate plans. Their generosity helped us meet current challenges and will be an ongoing source of financial support for years to come.

For additional information about including the Wildlife Center in your estate plans, please contact Randy Huwa at 540.942.9453 or at rhuwa@wildlifecenter.org. All inquiries will be treated in strict confidence.
