WCV Business Eagle Program

Please contact the Center at support@wildlifecenter.org or 540.942.9453 with questions or concerns regarding this opportunity.

Executive Summary
In order to recognize more effectively current organizational contributors, while establishing and maintaining new business relationships within the community, a "Business Eagle" program was developed. The plan was created to allow small businesses and larger corporations to serve as both good "corporate citizens" and environmental stewards by contributing to the Wildlife Center of Virginia. The structure affords each business the opportunity to participate at a chosen level of community involvement while providing the Center with a standardized way of rewarding the many businesses that already provide support.

The Program
The basic eagle levels are as follows:

Business Eagle $500
Supporting Eagle $1,000
Sustaining Eagle $5,000
Eagle Benefactor $10,000

All Business Eagles will be recognized on an attractive plaque in the WCV lobby, which lists each participating organization’s level. Additionally, each participating business will receive an award suitable for display. Furthermore, all business levels will be detailed in the Wildlife Center of Virginia Annual Report and a quarterly newsletter. The company websites of Business Eagles can also be linked from the Center’s website, www.wildlifecenter.org.

Supporting Eagles will be invited to a once per year reception and open house for employees.

Sustaining Eagles will be invited to individual receptions, at the Center, to which employees may bring family members. An alternative to this would be a named sponsorship of a WCV Education Program at a school of choice. This latter benefit affords the organization the opportunity to support both environmental/wildlife and educational concerns in one action.

Eagle Benefactors will have the options offered the Sustaining Eagles, with the added attraction of having President Ed Clark present at a function, or of having a private tour of our facility with Ed.
